The Museum, inaugurated in 2000, on October 20th and recognised as a Museum of regional interest in 2007, consists of five rooms. It collects materials found in the area as a result of excavations since 2001, financed by the Municipal Administration. The findings are chronologically organised from prehistory to the Middle Ages. The presence of a Civic Museum in the region, managed and organised by a team of archaeologists and engineers, represents the first significant step in the process of knowledge, training, dissemination and consequently the protection of significant local archaeological heritage.
